Just when you think things are going pretty well with a Disney Channel Pop Star - Daddy Ray Cyrus has to start doing glamor shots with Hannah Montana.
Seriously - what in the world is sexy about this picture? It's just not good...right? What's the message?
Who really thought it would be a great idea to do this?
I don't want to be mean or ugly - but Billy Ray, come on dude! Get out of the spot light and never do another glamor shot with Hannah Montana.
Miley Cyrus, (Hannah Montana) - caught a lot of flack this week for taking some "way beyond her time" photos with Vanity Fair magazine.
Annie Leibovitz??? - come on Billy - surely you knew what you were getting into when you let this lady snap shots of your daughter. She's known for this kind of stuff.
Poor Judgment for Billy. Your daughter isn't a 30 year old movie star - she's a 15 year old Disney star with 6 year olds following her.
Billy, stand up man. The world doesn't need any "Artistic Expressions" of your 15 year old daughter with no clothes on - covered only by a sheet.
Vanity Fair - not cool!
Miley ended up apologizing to her fans in this video and said she was embarrassed for the photo that ended up on the cover - but when it all comes down to the wire - BILLY - YOU'RE IN CHARGE!
Just a few suggestions/questions for Billy Ray here:
- Miley's fans don't read Vanity Fair - so what are you doing in their market with your daughter. I know you didn't need the money?
- Stay out of photo shoots with your daughter - especially sexy ones that end up in the media.
- You've already had your time - fade away into another market. Keep singing, just fade away from your daughter's success
- Don't EVER let anyone take pictures of your 15 year old daughter without clothes on
- Write the public an apology for being a selfish and exploitative Father
Just a few suggestions for Miley:
- Come on Be Different From All of This - for your own sake! You have a greater responsibility in life than the average teenage girl posting risque pictures of themselves on the web. They all think it's sexy - it's not. It hurts you!
- Take a break from the spotlight for a while - get some clarity about what's happening - forget "momentum" before you ruin yourself like many others have
